About TG Channel
TG Channel is an independent index of public Telegram channels. Anyone can submit a channel; the site scrapes t.me/s/<username>, stores a snapshot, and creates a permanent stats page that anyone can re-update once every 24 hours.
Metrics
View rate — the average view count of the last 20 posts divided by the current subscriber count. Higher is better; it shows how much of the audience is actively reading.
Activity — posts per day across the last 30 days.
Growth — the change in subscribers between the most recent snapshot and the closest snapshot ≥24h or ≥30d earlier. The first time a channel is added, growth fields show “—” until a second snapshot exists.
Data freshness
Stats are not real-time. They reflect the most recent snapshot taken either when the channel was first submitted or when someone pressed the “Update stats” button on the channel page. The button is rate-limited to one update per channel per 24 hours.
